1956 Cockshutt Black Hawk Little Chief Offset
Little Chief tractors were reconfigured at Cockshutt's Bellevue, Ohio facility for use with one row cultivators in tobacco and cotton crops throughout North and South Carolina. tread width was 40 or 44 inches. Reportedly only 25 were built to be sold through the Farmers Central Exchange (FCX) in Raleigh.
This particular unit was then converted to a dual-spool control valve which allowed seperate operation of the front and rear cultivators. As of 2005, the number of these tractors proven in existance is at 16 but not all are complete and operational.
